An open platform for innovation

The country’s natural agility, flexible legislation and a robust ecosystem of growth industry clusters make it ready for AI and other future technologies. Lithuania is emerging as an AI leader with a regulatory sandbox, the national LitAI initiative and a pan-Baltic AI Gigafactory, while clusters like Cyber City, Tech Zity and Bio City are drawing innovators in.

Lithuania is an integral part of Europe and the world – from optics in your local university lab to the photo editor on your Mac, from mobile gaming to second-hand commerce, from cybersecurity to data provision. The privacy app on your phone, the satellite passing overhead, the challenger bank licensed to serve the whole EU from one small country – there's a fair chance Lithuania is somewhere in the story.
