Students from Kaunas surprise with innovation at the World Robotics Championship

Kaunas Jesuit High School students brought home second place from the World Robotics Championship in Houston (USA), which took place on 19-22 April. The theme of this year’s championship was energy sustainability. The team LITBOT100 presented moss solar panels that can produce energy. According to the students, this idea could be relevant to the African continent.

The FIRST LEGO League, which attracts young innovators worldwide, introduces students to real-world engineering challenges. In this competition, young creators are invited to build, explore, and present projects with autonomous LEGO robots that perform specific tasks.

Remarkably, this is not the first time that the Kaunas Jesuit High School team has successfully competed in a global robotics championship. Four years ago, the Gymnasium team proudly claimed the title of world champions.
