Lithuanian manufacturer of laser sights, night-vision scopes and related equipment, Brolis Semiconductors, will supply the Belgian Armed Forces with electro-optical sights worth several million euros.
The company, which won the tender, will fulfil the order in 2026–2027. The exact scope of the contract has not been disclosed, the high-technology firm announced on Monday.
“The solution offered by Brolis received the highest scores both in the technical parameters category and in the economic bid category. The winner of the tender was announced following comprehensive testing and technical evaluation carried out by Belgian defence institutions over a six-month period,” the statement says.
According to the announcement, the company will manufacture Brolis DATS3 thermal clip-on sights for the Belgian Armed Forces, as well as low-power variable optics (LPVO) equipped with miniature red-dot sights (MRDS).
The Belgian Armed Forces have been using the company’s LP5X laser aiming devices since 2023, and the new contract further strengthens this cooperation and the company’s position on the NATO market, Brolis Semiconductors states.
A member of the Brolis Defence Group, the company has been supplying electro-optical solutions for infantry since 2014, serving armed forces and security institutions in 38 countries worldwide, including NATO members and their allies.
The company’s systems are currently in use by the armed forces and security services of Lithuania, Estonia, Denmark, Poland, Finland, Belgium, Spain, Australia, Canada and other countries. The company’s production capacity exceeds 40,000 systems per year.
