The International Skating Union (ISU) has officially announced that the 2024 European Figure Skating Championships will be held in Lithuania.
“We are thrilled to receive this wonderful news and are prepared for the challenges ahead. We can assure you that we will do our best to make the Old Continent Championship, which will take place in Kaunas from 8th to 14th January, not only the most memorable sporting event in Lithuania but also the best one in Europe,” reads the statement from the Lithuanian Skating Federation.
In 2023, the European Figure Skating Championships were held in Finland. Allison Reed and Saulius Ambrulevičius, representing Lithuania, finished 4th in the competition.
