Third edition of the MICHELIN Guide Lithuania unveiled: 44 restaurants recommended

On 5 June 2026, the third edition of the MICHELIN Guide Lithuania was officially unveiled, once again highlighting the growth and continued refinement of Lithuania’s gastronomic scene. This year, the guide recommends 44 restaurants across the country – seven more than last year.

Five Lithuanian restaurants have been awarded One MICHELIN Star, recognised worldwide as a mark of outstanding culinary excellence. This year, MICHELIN stars were awarded to Deep Roots, Red Brick, Demo, Džiaugsmas and Nineteen18.

The MICHELIN Bib Gourmand, awarded to restaurants offering particularly good value for money, went to eight restaurants: Pievos, Augustin, B’ARN Bistro, El Gato Negro, 14Horses, Gaspar’s, Le Travi and Nüman.

The Main Selection comprises 31 restaurants, including eight new additions: Buff On, Elēno, Monist, OMAKASE by Vaidas Užgerys, Palanga, Saint-Malo, SIJA and Skóg.

The full Main Selection is: Alba Bistro, Amandus, Apvalaus Stalo Klubo, Arrivée, Buff On, Da Antonio, DIA, Elēno, Elven, Ertlio Namas, Fabrikėlis, Farmer & The Ocean, HeJi, Justa Pasta, Kristoforas, Momo Grill, monai, Monist, Monte Pacis, MOTÍF, OMAKASE by Vaidas Užgerys, PACAI Restaurant, Palanga, Protėviai, Saint-Malo, SIJA, Skóg, Somm, Stebuklai, Stikliai and Uoksas.

The recognition marks another important step in Lithuania’s growing visibility as a modern and ambitious gastronomic destination. State investment in promoting the tourism and hospitality sector is helping Lithuania reach international audiences, attract gourmet travellers and strengthen the country’s economic potential.

The third edition of the MICHELIN Guide Lithuania also crowns an active year for the country’s gastronomy sector. Lithuania’s culinary potential was recently recognised by the European magazine Falstaff, Lithuanian chefs competed at the prestigious Bocuse d’Or competition for the first time, and the Baltic Gastro Summit highlighted Lithuania’s growing role as a regional platform for discussions on the future of restaurants and hospitality.

The presentation of the MICHELIN Guide Lithuania culminated in a gala evening at the new Saulė Hall of Vilnius Railway Station. The event, “Exclusive Celebration: Welcoming the Third Selection,” brought together leading chefs, restaurant owners, food critics and international guests.
