Lithuanian Business Event at EXPO 2025 in Osaka

We invite you to participate in business events in Japan, taking place on May 14–15, 2025, during the global exhibition EXPO 2025 (April 13 – October 13). This exhibition is held every five years and attracts millions of visitors from over 150 countries. It is one of the most significant international events, providing countries with an opportunity to showcase themselves and allowing institutions, businesses, and cultural representatives to establish connections. Lithuania will participate in EXPO 2025 together with Latvia in a joint pavilion.

Business Event Program:

• May 14: Business event in Tokyo and networking opportunities, organized by the Innovation Agency, the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania, and JETRO (registration will take place on the Brella platform).
• High-speed train transfer from Tokyo to Osaka (we will cover the ticket costs).
• May 15: Participation in EXPO 2025 Osaka during the thematic week “The Future of Community and Mobility Week.”
  • Lithuanian business event “Smart City Solutions: Bridging Collaborations Between Lithuania and Partners Worldwide” at the EXPO Theme Weeks Studio.
  • Organized by the Innovation Agency and the Government of Lithuania.

Program Highlights:

• Speech by Lukas Savickas, Minister of Economy and Innovation of Lithuania.
• Keynote presentations on “The Evolution of Smart Cities: Where Are We Today?”
  • Vilnius – European Green Capital 2025.
  • Tauragė – one of the 100 climate-neutral cities in Europe.
• Panel discussion on renewable energy: Integration and use of solar, wind, and other renewable energy sources in urban infrastructures.
• Pitch session for renewable energy, mobility, and technology companies.
• May 15–16: Visit to the Lithuanian/Latvian pavilion and the entire EXPO 2025 exhibition.
